Australian entrepreneur Larry Kestelman is entering the hospitality arena with a portfolio of restaurants and bars.

The venues are slated in launch in late-2019 in Kestelman’s South Yarra development, Capitol Grand.

Former Eleven Madison Park and Vue de monde chef Stephen Nairn has been appointed advisory chef of the food and beverage concepts within the development and will also spearhead his own restaurant which will open in early 2020.

No word on official concepts yet, but an all-day dining restaurant will be the first to launch in October. The 100-seat venue will offer a European menu with influences from France and Italy.

The team have also announced a pop-up venue on Toorak Road called Omnia, which will offer dishes from the development kitchen. Omnia will launch in mid-May and will be open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday.
